Tour Itinerary
Arrival in Cusco City and its surroundings
Early pick-up (approx. 4:00 a.m.)
We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco and head south in tourist transportation. The journey takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes to the district of Cusipata (Quispicanchi), where we will enjoy breakfast to gather energy.
Then we will continue the journey to the base of Rainbow Mountain.
Hike to Vinicunca
From the base, we will start the hike towards the Mountain of 7 Colors. The ascent takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes (depending on the group’s pace). Along the way, you will appreciate high Andean landscapes, mountains, and expansive views of the mountain range.
Mountain of 7 Colors Viewpoint
At the summit, you can contemplate the natural spectacle of Vinicunca and take photos with the panorama of the Andes. The area reaches an altitude similar to Everest base camp (approx. 5,389 m.a.s.l.), so it is recommended to walk calmly and stay hydrated.
Lunch and return to Cusco
After the visit, we will return along the same route to enjoy a traditional lunch. Then we return to Cusco, arriving at approximately 4:30 p.m.
